A planning application has been lodged for the erection of five apartments by means of forming an additional floor level on top of the existing apartment block Grosvenor Court in Grosvenor Road.

While there have been a number of public objections to this application in considering the information submitted to date and having reviewed the proposals against the policies within the Hoylake Neighbourhood Plan [HNP] we have confirmed our consultation response to Wirral Council that there is nothing in the HNP that precludes the approval of this development.
However that does not preclude any member of the local neighbourhood submitting their own comments on the proposal to the Environmental Services Department of Wirral Council. This can be undertaken on-line via the council’s website, or by email using the address
