Management Group Meeting Reports
- Locality funding
MHo reported that the Locality funding of £2,760 had been underspent by £535.72 which would need to be returned to Locality. MHo would complete an end of grant report and would need to liaise with Chris Moore to arrange repayment of the underspend if Metro Bank is not set up in time. A new tranche of funding is now available and we can apply for that once the funds have been returned.
- Review of meeting with a local resident and next steps
A positive and productive informal meeting with a local resident had taken place in response to some broader adverse commentary on social media. The group had an opportunity to listen to concerns and correct some misapprehensions about the role of the forum. All agreed it would be healthy and productive to meet again and to keep and build on an open channel of communication. All agreed that social media has been and continues to be unhelpful in communicating concerns in a meaningful way. Anyone wanting to engage with the consultation process is urged to respond to the consultation directly as the examiner will not take into account social media commentary and nor can the management group or our consultants. - Design Code and Masterplan printing
MHo brought along printed copies of the Design Codes and Masterplan. Arrangements would need to be made to get these into the Library and other venues around Hoylake for those who have limited or no internet access. - AGM Planning
AW had contacted St Lukes and confirmed 27/28 May 2022 for two open days and the AGM. MHo would produce 12 display panels and bring designs to the next meeting. We need to purchase sundry items (pens, post it notes, etc); this can be done once the new bank account is set up. A Press release would be needed. NB would investigate online voting options and come up with a strategy; we need a ‘hybrid’ mechanism for allowing voting before and at the AGM whilst ensuring only members are able to vote and no duplicate voting can take place. - Potential for a PLACED workshop in July
All agreed this would be a positive event and encourage people to take part in a ‘deep dive’ into what Neighbourhood Planning is about and what it can be used to achieve.
Date of next meeting 11 May 2022
