Management Group Meeting Reports
- New bank account and signatories
Jonathan Morgan (Treasurer) and Nigel Blacow (Membership Secretary) had researched a number of suitable bank accounts for small community organisations, like Hoylake Vision. They had concluded that Metro Bank provided the best option, with free banking on up to 200 transactions per month and a simple account to operate. It was agreed that an account would be opened with Metro Bank in the name of Hoylake Vision. Metro Bank require the Minutes of the Meeting to confirm the following:The Key Officials are:- Chair – Mark Howard
- Treasurer – Jonathan Morgan
- Membership Secretary – Nigel Blacow
The two signatories on the account are initially to be Jonathan Morgan & Nigel Blacow. It was agreed that only one signatory would be required for each transaction. It was also agreed that a chequebook and debit card would be needed. A copy of the Constitution would be printed off.
It was agreed that Jonathan Morgan and Nigel Blacow would visit the Liverpool branch of Metro Bank to open the account at the earliest opportunity, possibly on Friday 18th March.
- Report on meeting with Carr Lane residents
MHo, NB and AW had met with two residents of Carr Lane who were interested in helping us in the next stage of consultation in particular reaching residents and businesses in the Carr Lane area. The role and objectives of Hoylake Vision were clarified and it was agreed that they would do all they could to help raise awareness and engagement. They would help with distribution of surveys, membership leaflets and introductoruy booklets mid March. - Design Code response from Locality
Locality had responded to AECOM requiring some further changes. Mostly these were minor typos and grammatical errors but in some cases the changes were more significant, mostly relating to the degree of emphasis on Conservation within the codes. AECOM would liaiase with Locality to make the necessary changes, while emphasising that the two conservation areas do justify and require robust and clear guidance from this document. - Consultation next steps
MHo confirmed the Locality funding had been recieved and therefore printing of the surveys, introductory booklets and membership leaflets could proceed. Some copies of the Masterplan would also be printed and given to the Library and Parade Hoylake Community centre as well as other key venues in Hoylake. Distribution to Carr Lane would take place mid March. The website portal would be re-opened and a PR would go out to raise awareness. JC would be asked to draft asap. - AGM Planning
AW had contacted St Lukes and provisionally booked 27/28 May 2022. - Notifications of planning applications for HV response
As JP had stepped down we would need an alternative contact for the council to send planning notifications to. MHo agreed to do this and would contct the council to change the details.
Date of next meeting 13 April 2022
