Proposed Change of Use of the Old Lifeboat Station A3 (Restaurants and cafe) including external alterations and access | Lifeboat House, NORTH PARADE, HOYLAKE, CH47 2AL
In considering the information submitted to date and having reviewed the proposals we make the following comments:
Hoylake Neighbourhood Plan Policy BR1. SEAFRONT RECREATION
The proposed change of use from D1 (Museum) to A3 (Restaurants and cafés) concurs with HNP Policy BR1 in that it offers the prospect of a high quality and sensitively located food and drink outlet in enabling the operation of a Cafe/Bistro.
Hoylake Neighbourhood Plan Policy DI1. CHARACTER BUILDINGS
The proposed changes to the Tractor Shed building respect HNP Policy DI1 in that they do not materially diminish the significant character of the building.
Hoylake Neighbourhood Plan Policy DI2. SCALE AND DESIGN OF NEW DEVELOPMENT
The proposed changes to the Tractor Shed building respect HNP Policy DI2 in responding to the character and identity of the area in terms of size, design and materials of construction.
Hoylake Neighbourhood Plan Policy DI3. DESIGNATED HERITAGE ASSETS
The proposed changes to the Tractor Shed building respect HNP Policy DI3 in that these do not materially affect the significance of the designated heritage asset of the original lifeboat station building that is adjacent to it
Kindest regards
Julian Priest
