Having read through the Design and Access Statement I have a couple of comments
The proposal for an outdoor activity centre suggests that sand yachting and kite buggying will take place from here
There is no beach license for commercial operation of sand yachts or kite buggies in place
WMBC would need to be approached for this to be put in place
WMBC would have to seek the approval of Natural England to be in any position to issue a second [commercial] beach license for land based wind sports
At Lytham St Annes the LA was asking £3k PA for this, which has meant an equivalent centre never got off the ground
The only other thing is the suggested white UPVC Roller Shutter to the front of the ground floor
Not really appropriate for a building with historical significance that sits within a Conservation Area
