For my part I can see nothing in the proposals that does not accord with the NDP, indeed it is supported by various objectives, priorities and policies.
If the plans for a café also come to fruition that will also be supported?
It struck me that the people who turned up to complain last night were wanting us to object to the plans on their behalf.
We need to find a really simple way of explaining that people need to make their own representations directly to WMBC and that Vision will only do so in the context of the NDP, and we will where relevant consult the wider forum to formulate that response.
And we must be clear ourselves on that… and not contradicting each other publicly!
