The former Presbyterian Church at the end of Alderley Road was sold at auction earlier this year. On Wednesday 30 September 2015 from 6.30pm to 8pm, pre-submission proposals were shown at the church. These are “to demolish the church (reclaiming as much material and architectural features as possible) and to redevelop the site with six houses (four on Alderley Road and two to the rear with access off Lake Place)”.
