That rectangular plot of grass, adjacent the new lifeboat station, the former site of the swimming pool, is council owned and is informally used by the sandyachters during regattas.
It could be the subject of a more formal community use proposal . . .
A place for outdoor gym equipment ?
A place for additional benches ?
A place for an additional pavilion ?
All of the above could also be proposed for the triangle of hardlandscaped land owned by the council adjacent to the old lifeboat station
