Objectors – at the public meeting last night I had conversations with the 3 of them and pointed out they needed to object themselves and not expect HV to do this for them or support their view[s]
Then backed this up with an email to Ann Davies this morning
Beach License – I had previously had a conversation about this with Andy Lee the other week as he and Mike had been talking through the idea for the outdoor activity centre
I’m climbing with Andy tomorrow night so will have a chat with him on that tomorrow
The Beach License has nothing to to do with the NDP, so as I see it is no reason to raise an adverse planning consultation comment
UPVC Rollershutter – I can see the reasoning for it being in plastic as it is in a very exposed facade and will corrode VERY quickly
A better solution is something like the translucent plastic panelled overhead door they have used for the new lifeboat station
Timber sliding folding doors would suit a storage facility better, as then you don’t need to open up the whole opening [letting the weather in everytime] simply to get in/out
I feel we should let Mike and Andy know that this seems inappropriate, particularly considering the buildings historical significance and being in the CA
Then back this up with a formal comment to WMBC, which I’m sure Chris will do on behalf of the Conservation Group as well.
